Lanzhou Ximai Memory Alloy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Ximai), founded in August 1997, is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development of shape memory alloy medical devices in China, and an enterprise that has earlier achieved large-scale production of shape memory alloys. Ximai has successively passed and obtained the ISO 13485 medical device quality system certification in 2002, 2005, 2008 and 2011. In 2013, the company's products passed the CE certification of the German TUV South German certification authority. In 2014, the company started the FDA certification. The TiNi shape memory alloy patellar claw, cardiothoracic surgery and other series of products developed by the company have been appraised by the Gansu Provincial Science and Technology Commission as "an ideal and effective revolutionary product of traditional orthopedic instruments", "an important application achievement developed on the basis of research in Japan, the United States and other countries", and "has reached the international advanced level".
